The majority of gemstones cut from this material feature a captivating teal shade, resulting from a blend of these two colors. Occasionally, cobalt may aggregate into minute cobalt aluminate crystals. Each gem cut from this material possesses a distinct uniqueness attributable to varying proportions of Co2+ and Co3+ within the crystal lattice.
This material enjoys immense popularity, yet its availability remains exceptionally limited. The production runs for this material are marked by their small, irregular, and fluctuating volumes.
