Djeva Productions SA, established in 1914 and operating until 2021, was a Swiss-based company located in Monthey. Their primary focus was the production of exceptionally high-quality flame fusion sapphire and spinel gemstones for an extensive period exceeding a century. In 2021, the company declared bankruptcy due to the shifting landscape of the synthetic gemstone industry, which increasingly favored lower-quality and more cost-effective alternatives originating from China.
