Djeva 140 light rose spinel is a fascinating, uncommon pink spinel originating from Djeva. Presently, it appears there are no crystal manufacturers cultivating spinel of this hue. The flame fusion-created crystals possess a distinctive appearance, showcasing visible crystal facets. The origin of its pink coloration remains a mystery. It's improbable that chromium is the coloring agent, as the material does not exhibit any fluorescence. Magnesium might be responsible for the color, although this is still uncertain. Overall, it's a remarkably unique, rare, and intriguing material.
We had the fortunate opportunity to acquire the remaining pink spinel crystals that had been stored at a Thai cutting facility for many years. Upon discovering their availability, we swiftly secured the purchase, hopeful that we might find more of these gems in the future.
