We were presented with several types of experimental YAG (Yttrium Aluminum Garnet) growth boule tips, each exhibiting unique characteristics. These boules were labeled as Nd+R, where "R" might refer to an unspecified rare earth element, although this detail was somewhat unclear due to translation issues. Each type of boule displayed a subtle variation in color, shifting between a delicate blush pink and a soft grey.
