🌍 GENERAL MATERIAL DESCRIPTION

  • Material Name:FF Teal
  • Country of Origin : Thailand
  • Growth Method:

Cobalt flame fusion sapphire exhibits color variations due to the ability of cobalt to exist in two distinct valence states: Co2+ and Co3+, which impart blue and green hues, respectively. The majority of gemstones cut from this material feature a captivating teal shade, resulting from a blend of these two colors. Occasionally, cobalt may aggregate into minute cobalt aluminate crystals. Each gem cut from this material possesses a distinct uniqueness attributable to varying proportions of Co2+ and Co3+ within the crystal lattice.

🏭 SPECIFIC Lot INFORMATION

This material enjoys immense popularity, yet its availability remains exceptionally limited. The production runs for this material are marked by their small, irregular, and fluctuating volumes. We do our best to high grade the material only select the top 10% resulting in the most saturated gemstones.
