🍑🩷 This might be one of my favorite pastel colored lab sapphires. It has subtle peach hues on one axis and subtle pink hues on the other. It is absolutely spectacular rare material 🔥

🌍 GENERAL MATERIAL DESCRIPTION

  • Country of Origin : Switzerland
  • Growth Method: Flame Fusion

We learned that the Djeva sapphire 050608NR "Lotus" was a limited-run experimental item, not made in bulk. It appears to be corundum doped with small amounts of chromium and iron. In larger cuts, the subtle 🍑 peach hue along the C axis contrasts beautifully with the light pink A axis, creating a gemstone with a very faint padparadscha color. This material is truly stunning!

🏭 SPECIFIC Lot INFORMATION

We purchased two seperate lots of this experimental material from two old cutting houses in Thailand and India. The material was likely 20+ years old. When it's gone, it's likely gone for good.
